NEWS24: 2022 MATRIC RESULTS
Individual National Senior Certificate (NSC) results will be published online at 06:00 on 20 January for most provinces. The Western Cape will publish its results at 16:00 the same day.
You can find your 2022 Matric Results online on the News24 and Sowetan Portal.To find your matric results online, you can type in your examination number on News24's Matric Results Portal.
The portal will only display the results of those who have opted in to have their results published in the media in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act. Pupils who did not opt in will have to contact their school or provincial education department to get their results.

Results may be omitted due to technical reasons. If learners cannot access them online, they are advised to contact their school. The matric class of 2022 has the largest cohort of candidates to date. A total of 753 964 full-time and 167 915 part-time candidates were registered to write the final matric exams.
If you're not satisfied with your results, the next opportunity to complete or improve your results is in May/June 2023. According to the basic education department, you can register online or at a district office from 1 October 2022 to 8 February 2023.
Pupils who need academic funding in 2023 are urged to submit their applications to the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) with all the required supporting documents by no later than 31 January 2023.
